I am a dedicated therapist who believes that meaningful conversations can be powerful tools for healing and growth. I earned a Master’s degree in Counselling and Guidance in Iran and worked for several years as a counsellor. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University in Canada while practicing as a student therapist.
In my clinical work, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Method couples therapy. My integrative, strengths-based, and client-centred approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while helping clients recognize and build on their own resilience and capacity for change. I have experience supporting individuals through challenges such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive patterns, anger management, grief and loss, immigration-related concerns, and major life transitions.
When working with me, clients can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where they feel respected, understood, and empowered. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore difficult experiences, challenge unhelpful patterns, and discover new ways of coping. Guided by a belief in each person’s inherent strengths, I work alongside my clients to foster self-awareness, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
